NEWS Keller Konya will present an artist’s lecture entitled “Dirty Tales of Filthy Water” on Thursday April 28th, 4pm at the Centennial Museum located on the campus of University of Texas, El Paso. The lecture and reception is in conjunction with Keller Konya’s exhibition “Specimens.” The Centennial Museum is located at the corner of University Ave. and Wiggins Rd. on the UTEP campus. The museum is open to the public Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm. The Centennial Museum has partnered with the UTEP Center for Environmental Resources Management and Minors without Borders to bring the exhibition and artist’s lecture to El Paso. Claremont Graduate University and The Studio for Southern California History present “Navigating L.A.” an exhibition offering reflections on the region as a complex cross-cultural space where community, borders, migrations, and bodies interact, shift, change and are contested daily through the region’s history. Keller Konya’s work will be included in the exhibtion from May 6 – June 23 with a reception on Friday, May 6 from 7 – 10pm. The Studio for Southern California History is located at 977 N.
